The promise
Every piece is one of a kind. Not one of a limited run — one. Its particular combination of wood, color and design exists a single time in the world.
The same DNA, a different person
A design is never the final design. It begins as a knot, then transforms into something new — and that new shape can be born again in another wood, another palette. Look across the collection and you’ll find resemblances, the same lineage. But it’s the same DNA, a different person: no two finished pieces share the same wood, the same colors and the same design. Each is wholly itself.
Finding the one
Something happens when people meet these pieces: each person is drawn to a different pair. Not the “best” one — their one. I watched it happen and I knew this was worth doing — that everyone should get to find their soulmate pair, the one that, out of all of them, is unmistakably theirs.
It’s also why I make them this way. Repeating the same thing over and over feels wrong to me; and there’s nothing like watching a new design fall out of the transformations and thinking yes — that’s really good. From nothing, a knot; from the knot, something no one has seen. You just want to make the next one.
Once it’s yours, it stays yours
So here’s what I hold to: once a piece finds you, its exact wood, color and design will never be remade — not for the next person, not for anyone. It would be easy to quietly reproduce whatever sells. I won’t. The one you choose stays, always, the only one.
Even in transit
And the promise holds even once a piece leaves my hands. If your pair is lost or damaged on its way to you, I won’t recreate it — its exact wood, color and design left with it. But you’ll be refunded in full, every time. Each piece travels tracked and insured.
